Jen Blanco Photography serves Montreal, Laval, the South Shore, the West Island, and surrounding areas. Sessions can take place in your home or at an outdoor location.

What type of photography do you specialize in?

Jen specializes in storytelling motherhood, family, maternity, and in-home newborn photography in Montreal, focusing on connection and emotional moments.

I hate being in photos. What if I feel awkward?

You don’t need to know how to pose. Jen gently guides you so the experience feels natural and relaxed, helping you feel comfortable and present in the moment.

What if my kids don’t cooperate during the session?

Sessions are child-led and pressure-free. Kids are encouraged to be themselves, allowing real moments and genuine connection to unfold naturally.

Do you retouch the photos?

Photos are edited artistically for light and tone, but skin and bodies are not retouched. The goal is honest, timeless imagery that reflects real life.

How does the booking process work?

Booking your session is simple. Head to the Booking page, select your session type, pick a date, answer a few key questions, and pay the non-refundable retainer. After booking, you’ll receive your contract, session questionnaire, and final invoice.

How does payment work?

A $250 non-refundable retainer is required to secure your session date. The remaining balance can be paid before or on the day of the session.

Are you a bilingual photographer in Montreal?

Yes! Jen is bilingual in English and Spanish and also speaks some French. You can book your session in whichever language feels most comfortable for your family.

Family sessions are your chance to gather the clan, swap sweatpants for fancy attire, and finally capture a photo where Mom isn't the invisible force behind the camera. Our session will be relaxed, fun and full of laughter. I want you to feel comfortable and be yourselves - I don't want to capture perfect smiles or perfect poses. Instead, I want to capture who you truly are as a family and individuals.

The Process Of Booking Your Photoshoot

My booking process is simple. Just head to my booking page, choose your session, and the link will take you to your booking form. There, you’ll pick a date, answer a few key questions, and pay your non-refundable retainer to secure your spot.

After that, you’ll receive an email with your session questionnaire (so I can get to know your family), your contract, and the final invoice.
