Booking your photo session is simple. Just head to my Booking page, choose your session, and you’ll be guided to the booking form. There, you’ll select your date, answer a few key questions, and pay your non-refundable retainer to secure your spot.
Once your session is booked, you’ll receive an email with your session questionnaire (so I can get to know your family), your contract, and your final invoice.

Every Montreal photo session with Jen Blanco Photography includes:
An optional 30-minute consultation call, where we get to know each other and talk about your dream session
A 60-minute photo session, either in the comfort of your home or at a beautiful outdoor location*
A customized questionnaire, sent right after booking, to understand your family and what matters most to you
Wardrobe styling and location guides, so you feel confident and camera-ready
A full gallery of 50+ professionally edited, high-resolution images, ready for download with printing rights
Access to your private online gallery and print shop
*Newborn sessions are almost always held in-home (unless you want to do an outdoor photoshoot) and are up to 2 hours of shooting time.

Yes! I’m originally from Venezuela, so my native language is Spanish. I’m also fluent in English and speak a bit of French (maternelle 4 ans–French, as I like to say).
You’re welcome to book your session in whichever language feels most comfortable for your family.

For maternity sessions, the ideal time is usually between 28 and 34 weeks of pregnancy, when your belly is beautifully round and you’re still feeling relatively comfortable.
Motherhood sessions can happen at any stage, with a newborn, a toddler, or older children. There’s no “perfect” moment, only the season you’re in right now.
If you’re unsure about timing, I’m always happy to guide you based on your family and your vision.

This is one of the most common worries, and I promise, it’s completely okay.
My sessions are child-led and pressure-free. Kids are allowed to be themselves: shy, energetic, curious, or needing breaks. I gently guide when needed, but I never force poses or smiles. You can recognize those a km away!
Often, the most meaningful images come from the in-between moments, and those are the ones you’ll treasure the most.

After booking, you’ll receive a link to the welcome prep guide to help you choose outfits that photograph beautifully and feel comfortable and prepare for your photoshoot.
I recommend neutral tones, soft textures, and outfits that allow movement and connection. Most importantly, you should feel like yourself.
If you’re ever unsure, I’m happy to help you choose what works best for your family and your session location.

Yes, I absolutely do. In-home photo sessions are a beautiful option, especially for motherhood and newborn photography.
They allow us to capture your family in a familiar, meaningful space, with no need to rush, travel, or worry about weather. Your home doesn’t need to be “perfect”; it just needs to be yours.
